Our Satellite Camp

In efforts to differentiate our guests fishing experience from our competitors - we offer the option to fish at a further, more remote part of the river at out Satellite Camp.

If you choose the satellite camp option, we will take you up river, about 5 hours, by boat up to the Jatapu River.

The Jatapu River is further north and has a higher concentration of certain fish species that migrate to this particular part of the Amazon.

As we travel up to the Jatapu River, we will make stops to at various fishing spots known to our guides.

Expect us to arrive at the Satellite camp before nightfall as we incorporate many fishing stops along the way.

When we arrive at our campsite unload our bags and set up our sleeping arrangements.

*The camp does not have the same amenities as our main camp- it is much more rustic.

After dinner, we will go night fishing. this is to offer our guests a different fishing experience and the opportunity to see how the fish behave in the Amazon.

*This experience is highly recommended for those who want an even more authentic rainforest fishing experience.

We Love to offer our guests an elevated fishing trip experience. This is why we offer mini excursions such as Night Time Cayman Adventures where we take our guests out after dark in search of enormous caymans in the Amazon.

Or if you so wish, we can bring you to a neighbouring indigenous tribe to introduce you to their way of life and bring back some memorable souvernirs to forever remember this once in a lifetime experience!
